Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Partners with La Colombe Coffee Roasters for a Good Cause

Recently, Leonardo DiCaprio's Foundation (LDF) partnered with my hometown, Philadelphia's La Colombe Torrefaction, a national coffee roasting chain to create a new coffee line, LYON. Together, they will  help save endangered orangutans on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra where the company's coffee is grown while Leonardo DiCaprio has been using his pull as an actor to help endangers tigers around the world.

With DiCaprio being the tiger guy and Carmichael the organgutan guy, they will now work to together to raise awareness on one of the most pressing environmental issue of our time. 100% of the net profits from the sale of LYON will be donated to environmental charities supported by LDF.

Todd Carmichael, Co-Owner of La Colombe, said in a recent press release, “Leonardo is a real person, who lives and breathes what he does and I can’t say that for everyone in Los Angeles. He uses everything is his power to change the world and he is what I wish everyone was.”
